  Hi Sharon:
My friend Merly, who lives on my street, wants to invite you and Daniel to
come for a hotpot supper on Wed this week at our house. Can you come? Even
if Daniel has to go to English class he still needs to eat supper.

Do you feel like working out tomorrow morning? Are you feeling better?

Aletha

5 A company has announced that it wishes to build a large factory near your community. Discuss

the advantages and disadvantages of this new influence on your community. Do you support or oppose the factory? Explain your position.

It’s hard to say that (Start here -If there were a factory built near my community, it’s hard to say whether or not I (will = would) support it. (or not). It depends on which factory they are going to have. I will oppose those with (the) possibility of environment(al) pollution but support (those =remove the word) green industries.

There (will=would – if you are going to start your essay with the past tense you need to be consistent) be (a) big and new influence on my community, that’s for sure. The advantages( will) be a like more opportunity for jobsmore people growing , economic growing , and the price of the house or lands will be up. There will be more needs on every industry.(This sentence is very awkward- let me explain on Tues after workout) And that means more money and more business chances.

But for those who don’t like to change at all or for those who have no houses ,it may become (a =remove word) bad news for them. There will be too many people , I mean too many strangers com(ing) to our community, and it may not be safe anymore.

Too many people com(ing)e to the community too soon and too quick can also cause problems. Schools and the local goverment may not get ready for that. Is there enough daycare center(s) or community resources for the (new comers = newcomers)? Are there enough schools, seats or teachers for  new students? Even though the community or local goverment can get more benefit (form =from a) new factory, there is also(a)price and more costs to pay.(sounds like Brandon J)

Some people like to change, but most people don’t. People who like more changes can see opportunities from the change and get benefit from (that = it). Anyhow, (it’s important for anyone always stop in the same place, and never has to change = I get the idea of what you are saying but it is not a sentence). If I have to change anyway, I will try to embrace it.

In my opinion, I will suggest (to have a vote about the new decision by the local residents. = that the local residents be given the chance to vote about the new decision to bring a factory to their city.)  That will be fair and square for everyone. (I will like to follow the final decision, whether I like it or not. = This way the decision will be final whether someone likes it or not.)
